Explore our full line of Maglite-compatible solvent trap adapters, threaded and solid ends, cups,
and muzzle brakes — all USA-made and designed for Freedom Gear solvent trap kits.
Are Maglite solvent trap adapters compatible with C and D size?
Yes — there are two C-size options to be aware of: the Cupless C-size kit (a single product made from modular 1″ sections that screw together) and the standard C-size full-length tubes we also offer. Choose the Cupless kit if you want modular sections; choose the full-length C tubes if you prefer a single-piece C tube. For D-size, our best-selling aluminum D kits are full-length by default. In all cases, match your chosen kit to your barrel threads (1/2×28 or 5/8×24).
What’s the difference between threaded ends, solid ends, and cups?
Threaded ends attach to your barrel or quick-connects. Solid ends seal the system for safe solvent capture. Cups screw together (or stack) to create liquid-tight chambers for cleaning and solvent recovery. Use the cupless option if you want modular sections instead of cup assemblies.
Are these parts legal?
Purchasing solvent trap adapters and parts for firearm cleaning is legal. Do not alter products to muffle sound without an approved BATFE Form 1. If you have legal questions, consult the ATF guidance linked below or contact our support.
Looking for a cleaner, more comfortable range session? The Hex Tube Solvent Trap Kit (aka blast projection tube or muzzle projector) pushes blast forward—away from you and bystanders, which noticeably cuts side concussion and makes bench time easier on everyone. Just as important, it doubles as a highly effective solvent trap. Every tube and adapter is finished in ultra-flat black anodization for a sleek, durable, corrosion-resistant surface that stands up to hard use.
Easy assembly & use (HEX Solvent Trap Kit)
Setup is straightforward: screw the Hex Tube onto the adapter, thread it onto your barrel, and you’re ready. During cleaning, the trap neatly captures the solvent you pour down the bore, so you can recycle fluid, save money, and reduce mess—a simple routine that keeps your gear and workspace dialed.

The word “crisis” can encompass a wide range of situations, from minor inconveniences (like a streaming service outage) to major emergencies. While zombie invasions or alien attacks might be unlikely, it’s wise to consider how we can be more prepared for realistic challenges.
Planning for Practical Scenarios
Focusing on practical skills and knowledge for potential disruptions can be more helpful than prepping for extreme scenarios. Instead of picturing a chaotic fight over limited resources, consider building skills like:
Cooking: Learning to cook basic meals from scratch, using pantry staples and potentially incorporating some foraged herbs, can be beneficial.
Gardening: Even a small space can be used to grow vegetables and herbs, providing fresh produce and a sense of self-sufficiency.
Food Knowledge: Understanding general food preservation methods (canning, drying) and basic nutrition can be valuable in any situation.
Building Resilience: A Gradual Process
Building a healthy lifestyle and learning new skills takes time and effort. Here are some steps you can take:
Start with small changes: Gradually incorporate healthy foods into your diet, learn a few basic cooking techniques, and consider starting a small indoor herb garden.
Learn alongside others: Look for community gardening initiatives or cooking classes to share knowledge and resources.
Focus on what you can control: While we can’t predict everything, we can focus on developing skills and knowledge that can benefit us in a variety of situations.
Embracing a Realistic Approach
While complete self-sufficiency in a major crisis might be unrealistic, being more prepared can offer peace of mind and a sense of control. The key is to be practical, focus on building a healthy lifestyle, and learn skills that can be adapted to different situations.
This revision removes the negativity and focuses on:
Practical scenarios and skills.
Gradual steps for building resilience.
Positive and actionable language.
It’s important to remember that healthy eating habits are always beneficial, regardless of a crisis. By focusing on practical skills and building a foundation of knowledge, we can all be more prepared for unexpected challenges.
